Emergent Automation is looking for a Control Panel Assembler to join our growing team and support our unique and diversified products around the upstream and midstream Oil & Gas Market. This position entails you building out a variety of instrumented and electro-hydraulic control panel builds. Qualified candidates must have experience with industrial instrumented components and their integration with PLC’s and or microcontrollers. Knowledge on PLC programming and troubleshooting is a bonus.

 What will be expected of you:

• Control panel configuration and wiring
• Sets up, calibrates, tests, measures and repair all types of electrical controls, instruments, and electronic components.
• Is a proactive member of the team. Looks for, repairs, process improvements, and maintains a preventative attitude.
• Sets up and operate tools used to diagnose and repair equipment.
• Dismantles functional systems and tests components.
• Support with QA/QC
• Keeps maintenance shop and assigned areas neat, clean, and organized.
• Demonstrates sound work ethic.
• Supports and encourages greater employee teamwork.

Experience

• 5+ years of experience - Control Panel Assembly is a must.
• Associates / Technical College Degree is preferred with a focus towards Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering
• The position is located in Houston, TX

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
